A documentary filmmaker (Brooke Shields) is following the exploits of a legendary rap music producer (Power), while a talented basketball player who hangs out in the same circles becomes involved in a detective's point-shaving scheme. Robert Downey Jr., Elijah Wood, Claudia Schiffer, Allan Houston, Ben Stiller, Mike Tyson, Jared Leto and Bijou Phillips costar.
